A quick look at their website suggests that EVR is heavily focused on South American copper while TMG is heavily focused on antimony, different companies have different skillsets, and 75% of the deal was paid in shares, so they still retains upside to TMG's success so I think it was a good deal for both parties.
As mentioned, lots of companies have bought flagship projects for cheap, ie LRV buying their hillsgrove project for $5-7m and went to a $400m market cap at peak from that project alone.
