I think Platinum is a good idea, Palladium has never been tiered historically in the PM space and since they are around the same price Platinum is a better idea. In the early 2000's Palladium was under $200 a few times while Platinum dipped under $500 a few times and historically Platinum seems to be valued 2x that of Palladium (and 2x that of gold) pre 2000's and mid. They both have the same issue of older Catalytic Converters being recycled and fed back into the physical market which is why the prices are suppressed compared to gold and silver, obviously some sort of opportunity there.
