We have so much in common it's not funny:)

Me started trading in May 2000 myself, and it also took me many years to learn how not to lose money (or not much anyway lol) and to abolish any emotional attachment from companies that I trade.

"I'm a very unemotional trader as you may have gathered and you have to be to make the decisions that come hard. I will sell at any sign of confirmed weakness I never fall in love with a stock."

I consider you like my TA twin brother lol...
