I had a good reply not long ago which said this which I enjoyed.
Lupins are 40% protein, 40% fibre, 7% oil and 13% carbs and other ingredients. So 1 tonne of lupins contains 400kg of protein. We lose some of this in our production process, but our yield is improving as we scale up our process. We can’t divulge exact figures, but we are aiming to maximise the amount of lupin protein we retain, but also ensure we capture value from the fibre and the oil
