Given the signifant NSW mid North Coast floods, there haven't been any QUB steel trains from Port Kembla to Brisbane (Acacia Ridge) and reverse direction empty workings for a few days.
However on Monday 26 May, train 2WB7 conveying steel northbound is approaching the dairying town of Gloucester as freight trains resumed today.
Thankfully there is no major damage to the vital North Coast NSW main line, unlike the roads where apparently, access to a number of towns including Kempsey and Gloucester is partly (at least) cut off.
