I do stand corrected, my math went astray
the item I was looking at was 20oz silver bar (Item 330529653808) went for $722.58 when spot was $AUD31.50 at the same time last night.

so the price of $36.12 an ounce was only 15% above spot, a quick look at other silver bars shows a similiar premium, however the point of the original comment remains unchanged.....

incidently where exactly did you see a 1KG bar on EBay?

also will also be interested to see if those speeches did take place......
