I too think we are seeing pretty considerable undervaluing of the green steel industry at the moment. Even some of the big players in iron seem to be sticking to their guns and maybe experiencing a hint of 'innovator's dilemma'. Was doing a bit of research recently on BHP, FMG and RIO. It appears that A. Forrest has realised this demand for higher grades for EAFs, hence the Iron Bridge project, and from their FY24 report:

If you do a check to see what BHP and RIO are doing in this space, it seems pretty minimal. I think that once ore prices start to rebound we might see a bit of noise as some take a punt on the growth of the green steel.
