At the last Endo announcement they did say they had a final UK Endo study to go with about 700 patients(from memory) and once this 700 patient confirmation study was complete PIQ would be ready to commercialise the Endo test. So from that point of view PIQ has done what they say.
The big issue for PIQ is that it seems Sonic Laboratories in the US, for whatever reason dropped the ball on establishing the Promarker D testing regime for Diabetes. I reckon it has put PIQ back 2 years.
If you look at the recent Board appointments and employee hires they are really gearing up for commercialisation. I watched the latest interview with the MD yesterday and got a sense of real frustration with the slow commercialisation process and hence this is why PIQ has had to establish its own accredited laboratories to get ProMarker D testing facilities up and running, which is now actually testing in Australia and earning fee’s albeit at a low level to date.
Based on this latest MD interview and what our family’s live Endo experience with my daughter I decided yesterday to invest more cash into the SPP.
I am still extremely confident in the Endo product. Endometriosis is getting huge attention in Australia and around the world. And the PIQ test is perfectly placed they just need to get all of their new employees and Board members working as hard as they can to get the test happening and marketed like hell.
