No buyer is going to buy graphite at a premium just because it’s ex-China. Governments can put tariffs on Chinese graphite to make ex-China markets more competitive but that would only increase inputs of EV and ultimately increase the price of EVs. This in turn will lower demand and therefore lower the amount of graphite required. Bad and Bad. If companies aren’t competitive on their own then there’s a problem.
Maybe China can buy SYR.
