I just returned from a trip through Charters Towers and right past Sybil on the Gregory Development Road. Interestingly, around Cobar, most deposits/mines are associated with elevated topographical features on otherwise fairly flat country. In and around Charters, there are high points sticking out of the ground regularly / everywhere. Damian will have his work cut out for him, but it is a truly, historic bonanza area. Let's hope he finds some clear air and inspiration amongst the pages and pages of data.
