But you're absolutely correct.

Wave 4 should be different to wave 2.

If wave 2 is a zigzag then in theory wave 4 should be something else. It can be a "flat", which may mean a horizontal triangle, but can be a straight line decline or some other beast.

Thanks for that and I may have to rethink.

I have to say I am not as fussy about EW as I used to be and also not so reliant on it.
