DY6 to commence exploration in Cameroon
DY6 Metals Ltd (ASX: DY6, “DY6” or “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company
will shortly commence exploration at the Douala Basin and Central Rutile projects in
Cameroon.
The Company’s technical team, lead by Cliff Fitzhenry, has identified high priority areas for
immediate exploration at the Central Rutile project, which adjoins Peak Mineral’s (ASXUA),
Minta Rutile Project. Initial exploration will consist of detailed mapping and soil sampling on a
wide-spread grid basis to ensure maximum coverage across the ~2,100km2 licence area.
Technical Consultant, Cliff Fitzhenry, commented: “We have secured the services of a highlyregarding Cameroonian consultancy which, in addition to having prior experience with Eramet
at the Company’s Douala Basin project, has a deep understanding of the prospective locations
across the Central Rutile project area. Importantly, they are well resourced and equipped to
shortly commence first-pass exploration across both projects.
“I am looking forward to getting on the ground in Cameroon in early June. With the
extraordinary results recently announced by Peak Minerals, we are even more excited about
the potential for natural rutile discoveries across our own projects.”
