It's pretty obvious what its worth based on the last CATL deal:
"CATH will pay AVZ US$259.25m to acquire a 30.5% indirect interest in the
Manono Project, through the acquisition of shares in Green Lithium Holding
Lte. Ltd (GLH) (a wholly owned subsidiary of AVZ International Pty Ltd (AVZI)
and the holder of legal title to AVZ's interest in Dathcom Mining SA (Dathcom)),
on satisfaction of certain conditions precedent, including grant of a mining
licence for the project area covered by PR 13359 (Mining Licence) to Dathcom"
Not sure how much of Manono AVZ indirectly owns but if it is in fact 75%, that will be reduced to 44.5%. If the whole project is worth USD850M based on the latest CATL deal, and there's something like 3.5B AVZ shares on issue, then that equates to 850M x 0.445 / 0.6 (AUDUSD) / 3.5B = 18c/share
Sorry but the US aren't going to pay dollars for something the Chinese just paid cents for. It doesn't work that way particularly if they are bringing security to the region for "free".
