In today's cash rich gold producer environment, KSN could easily become a take-over target. However, the company has indicated that it is interested in expanding utilisation of its polymetal plant at Mineral Hill through acquisition in the surrounding area. As an intellectual exercise, are people interested in thinking about possible targets for KSN.
I think we need to filter by appropriate criteria, such as: -target's existing resource/exploration area close enough to Mineral Hill for economic transport of ore to the processing plant (100 km?) -target has market capitalisation able to be digested by KSN without severe dilution. -target already has proven resources in the metals that are to be processed at MH but with potential for expansion -target is not currently mining and processing (KSN's driver is to use its plant at MH) -ore type of any resource is compatible for processing at MH
As initial targets, consider: KCC.ASX Kincora - Condobolin Project TLM.ASX Talisman - Rip Tear and Durnings targets AGC.ASX Australian Gold and Copper - Moorefield Project
Finding ASX companies close enough to Mineral Hill seems limited but others may be able to find more.
