This is exactly why I limit myself to very few companies to discuss on HC. The level of intrustion and questioing @sabine has endured is inappropriate.
The fact that she rationally defended her reasoning is commendable but she should never have felt forced to do so in the first place.
Do you understand your questioning may have motivated the acolytes (you know the ones that offer nothing of substance and act only as flaming, baiting gatekeepers) to pile on pressure for her to leave the forum? They look up to you @Process1.
I think you realised that to some degree in your latter response when you were polite and willing to see her POV.
HC is a combative corner of the Internet. LTR is one of the most passionate and interesting topics. Is there a way we can move to dignified discussion of LTR? To be able to post viewpoints (about the company / industry) and defend the reasoning or respond with counter points.
At worst we can agree to disagree. I just think it is beyond absurd when only super positive posting is tolerated.
And stop with the calls / signals to ignore. Like it or not, @anatol, @DAISY, and yourself are viewed on a pedestal and there are countless people willing to attack to impress you. Your followup response to @sabine was reasonable, but the topic of her other holdings should never have come up. That is low level ad hominem debate.
On the topic of ignore, it doesn't bother me because I have witnessed how many claim to have me on ignore but show they don't. From my perspective, it only serves to demonstrate they don't have the knowledge or capabilities to engage in a discussion about LTR, or if they do, they realise they will lose the argument.
This may sound strange to you and others, but I get a bit disappointed when I'm not challenged with a factual debate. On occasion I post to bounce theories and see if they stack up. I'm not perfect. Far from it actually. I'd like for this to be a place where someone can point out why they think I am wrong and convince me of it. I really would willingly accept if proven wrong. Sadly, I typically just get personal attacks or unconvincing cherry picked data, at worst I get fabricated unsubstantiated claims.
Like it or not, there are challenges that LTR face in producing at current pricing while also transitioning to UG. I know they have declared commercial production for OP and plant, however I still consider LTR to be ramping up. Their target of just 70% recoveries by Q3FY26 demonstrates LTR is in that phase. Those that have followed the industry understand it takes a lot of time to get processing bedded down. LTR have actually been pretty swift in that respect. I applaud management for the build and how quickly they progressed. LTR also managed to find a superior financing arrangement to what the commercial syndicate of banks were offering - that is no small feat. I hold because I see future returns outweighing average returns and 50% discount of CGT is handy. That doesn't mean I don't have concerns and I think most are aware of what they are.
Here is a post that appeared to immediately react to your questioning of @sabine@Process1, please set an example to those that follow you and want to impress you.
