Not my question, I know.
I don't believe anybody can answer that, but I think that a religion that had a mere handful of followers at the time of the death of its Founder which then grew into the most populous religion on earth and has in some way transformed almost all cultures and societies on earth seems to me at least that in some unfathomable way Christ dispensed inspiration, support, courage, etc, from the spiritual realm and this is suggestive of being alive in the spirit.
