The CFSM is as worthy as many other religions that preach a form of collective insanity while receiving a tax break. That is the point that I was raising with my tongue-in-cheek post.
Religious organisations, like the Seventh-day Adventist Church, own Sanitarium Health Food Company in Australia and New Zealand. The Seventh-day Adventist Church, like other churches, gets tax breaks, including profits that it makes from its Sanitarium Health Food Company. This obviously creates an unfair advantage over competitors that have to pay tax, and directly means that the rest of us have to pay more tax.
In my opinion, this is tax breaks for religious organisations gone wild.
