But even if the US has no prior knowledge including the Biden administration, it is to be expected that the US should be notified in advance prior to the trigger of such an audacious attack which could have significant ramifications and certainly an escalation that could be uncontrollable.

Sure, but we don't know either way.
Seems like Trump effectively washing his hands of that war was a good thing. Maybe the whole world doesn't need to get dragged into a conflict which I liken to an abusive couple who deserve eachother.
