The question is ... 'what is the real interest rate' ... i.e. interest rate achieved after factoring in inflation.

Gold is only facing headwinds when there is a decent positive real interest rate on offer.

During the 70's gold went up 20x whilst interest rates ramped up to 20%p.a.

Seems to me the Fed will be required to print up around 10 trillion this year, and Lord knows how much of the 200 trillion that the US owes will have to be printed ... Probably most of it ...

So not much chance of low inflation.

Agreed it is likely the masses will continue to be screwed over by the Deep State, and they surely have some demonic new currency plan in the wings ...

But I suggest that the most damage has been done in the last 50 years because there was nothing to rein them in.

Sound (honest) money, if we can return to it, ought to slow down their evil plans.

The extent to which they have enriched themselves at the expense of the ordinary citizen in those 5 decades is truly astonishing.

I have said a number of times here that it is quite sad that the only thing that might save us from our own leaders is the rise of the BRICS, because this is the only force driving us toward sound money.
