You've got to be joking.
Let me assure you that very many in the West did not regard Bondy as a hero. Yes he won the Americas Cup, and he was admired for that by the whole country.
Bondy just destroyed people in his path, and his so called friends, Connell etc including Kizon, well, what can I add ???? If you are not familiar with the name, just goggle John Kizon. Kizon purchased every piece of baccarat crystal for Bondy at the auction when Bond Corporation went into receivership. Kizon never left Bondy's side on the day of the preview.
