There’s a few days lag but there is considerable amount of shares short as you have advised. Were they doubling down? Let’s see when the data is out later this week if any shorts were closed today or if they increased. Given the positive announcement release except for anticipated production numbers it will be interesting to see if its market cap falls further or rises by the end of the week. This is despite any met coal price reduction/decline which the futures had indicated for June weeks ago.
