CT LVAS and XV LVAS use standard scans that then depend on mathematical models to detect and analyse subtle tissue shifts between scans, which in turn allow them to estimate lung function. There is no direct visualisation of particles or airflow involved in this process. Products like Technegas provide direct visualisation by tracking how inhaled particles distribute themselves through the airways. Ironically your nightclub and sunlight analogies describe Technegas imagery, but they don't apply to XV products.
