Again, this is a weird take. Shareholders don’t have an obligation to act in the best interests of other shareholders or maximise value. Because they are shareholders and don’t have a role here.
What they do have is an obligation not to breach the law, which is what Mayfield are alleging genius have done. And given every regulator in the country will be looking at Darren and genius, we should all be fully supportive of the board taking legal measures to ensure they don’t take Mayfield down with them.
For your default view to be angst against the board says to me you have association to this wrongdoing
