From here: "...including the Mrima Hill deposit in Kenya, which is considered to be one of the richest niobium deposits in the world. These heavily oxidized carbonatites contain primarily iron oxide and alumino silicate gangue minerals with extremely fine microcrystalline pyrochlore; up to 43% of niobium is in the − 8 μm fraction". Places it in the same uneconomic category for Nb as Mt Weld and others.
