My impression is that the list is not "expressions of interest" but a list of organisations to seek expressions of interest from.
And of course RIO is on the list.
But RIO has recently changed their CEO and there is some uncertainty about how this will affect their so far determined acquisition of lithium assets.
Hopefully it will accelerate it! But someone will need to ask RIO about that.
