Welcome to the End Brain Cancer Initiative’s (EBCI) annual “Know All Your GBM Treatment Options” webinar, held on May 16, 2025. Dellann Elliott Mydland, President and CEO of EBCI, hosted a global audience of patients, caregivers, researchers, healthcare providers, and industry leaders. With over 142 registrants and over 100 participants watching live on Facebook, this event marks 23 years of EBCI’s commitment to advancing patient access, advocacy, and education in the brain cancer community.Dellann kicked off the meeting with a discussion of the history of the organization, its mission to eliminate barriers to clinical trial access, and introduced the 2025 National HOPE Award program honoring inspiring GBM patients. She also thanked generous sponsors and partners, Novocure and Telix Pharmaceuticals, for supporting this patient education initiative. Novocure is recognized for its leadership in wearable GBM therapy with the Optune Gio device (https://www.optunegio.com/), and Telix (https://telixpharma.com/) for advancing PET imaging agents for brain cancer.
