With all due respect Osi, I think you are confusing country risk with Country Road.

Kingaroy is a small town in Queensland surrounded by country roads.

Tunisia is a small country only twice the size of Tasmania, pincered between the far larger countries of Algeria and Libya, the former of which is in civil revolt and the latter of which is at civil war.

Kingaroy has an elected town council. Tunisia does not yet have a permanent elected government.

Of major concern at the moment for Tunisia is the fact that it shares a 500Km open border with Libya. Sidi Daher in fact lies just around the bay from the Libyan capital of Tripoli, where the Libyan dictator Gaddafi is currently bombing and machine-gunning his own unarmed citizens.

Gaddafi, who is a Hitler-like paranoiac, probably sees Tunisia as the origin of his present difficulties. Tunisia must therefore feel that it is in a not-dissimilar position to that of Kuwait when Sadam Hussein was at the height of his madness and massacring his own Kurdish and Arab citizens, and must be praying that Gadaffi is swiftly removed.

Kingaroy does not have these problems.
