Same Salami, more Baloney
So when called on the carpet for the lies in your initial post, you don't even try to defend yourself.
- Your defence for your lie about the big beautiful bill... silence.
- Your defence for misrepresenting the cuts... silence
- So ideologically blinkered you forgot that an increase in USA defence spending is a net positive for Australia, as we rely on the US military
Now you try to conflate a state to state gift as corruption? If Qatar gifts a plane to the USA and the US Air Force takes title to the plane where is the corruption? You might argue that Qatar may not be best friend to align with but this seems to only save the US Air Force some funds. (For me I see Corruption when Mitch McConnell(R) or Joe Biden(D) get paid millions into their personal accounts by foreign governments).
Also don't try the *** of pretending I am a fan of Trump - he is a man of many flaws. However he does correctly see the enormous corruption in DC and is making at least some effort to limit the corruption of the parties/entrenched interests.
Your assertion that tariffs mean higher prices for everyone?
But inconveniently for you Inflation has FALLEN from March to April, two months after the tariffs launched.Headline Inflation Rate (CPI-U): 2.3% year-over-year, down from 2.4% in March 2025. This is the lowest since February 2021.
Your assertion that consumer confidence is falling ?
Inconveniently for you Consumer Confidence had a big INCREASE from April to MayConference Board Consumer Confidence Index:
May 2025: Increased by 12.3 points to 98.0(1985=100), up from 85.7 in April 2025, marking the largest monthly gain since March 2021.
Also as for an investment thesis I don't pay much attention to presidents, or prime ministers, or headline numbers, or tariffs or analysts or any other prognosticators. Just compare my assessment of a company's value to what the market offers it for on any given day. When it looks really cheap - buy. When it gets too high - sell. It seems to work.
