    On June 3, 2025, Elon Musk announced on X that Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite-based internet service, is now available in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

    This means people across Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Kikwit, Kananga and even more remote areas can now enjoy high-speed, low-latency internet, thanks to Starlink’s satellite constellation.
