I would like to ask a question coming from a new trader. There is an abundance of reading that kind posters have shared so that i can learn from the mistakes and breakthroughs they have faced in their journey. I am hoping a generous person could help me as i begin my journey.
Currently i have had some beginners luck trading DTR, TMG & LKY bringing my account from an initial $12.5k to $21k. I know that i have gotten lucky here and have struck these rare earth explorers as REE's are hot with the China - U.S trade war v2. However, i need to dial in my strategy around 'filtering out the noise'.
I am struggling to screen through the myriad of companies the ASX has to offer. What tools are available to filter out the noise and find companies as they are on the 'up & up'?. I know smaller cap companies have much larger potential to breakout but which ones? Should i be focused on TA of FA? How do i move from 'guessing' to 'taking on informed risk'
Currently i have been using the Trading View Screener tool linked here (https://www.tradingview.com/screener/) and i am finding it okay but hard to fine tune it to give me companies with potential.
Any help would be much appreciated as i know many posters here have much experience and from my readings are enjoying healthy profits. I am just a young man hoping to secure the financial future of my wife and my baby girl on the way.
