Great in theory, but I don't think the law around a scheme allow such action from purchaser.
In fact often any shares they have purchased pre scheme would not qualify as a valid vote from my understanding. This is why there is no incentive to buy up before entering a scheme.
Happy to be corrected if this is not the case.
