WAF is a fantastically run entity by Richard Hyde. Burkina Faso is presently a very well-run country by Ibrahim Traore. But with WAF having $458mil debt offset by $330mil cash at 31Mar25, means that if there is a successful coup shortly then you're more than likely going to lose 100% of your investment - is any investment a good investment when that can happen? especially as the likelihood of a successful coup seems to be increasing from all reports. More power to the likes of Traore and I hope he succeeds where others have tried but been assassinated, such as Thomas Sankara. Unfortunately an investment here is as good as a visit to the casino or playing Russian roulette IMO(I'm a previous shareholder that eventually didn't like the odds).
