Speaking as someone who has benefited greatly from government handouts (yes I mean govt welfare - just like those dole bludgers get) such as CGT discounts, super carry forward provisions and -ve gearing deductions, not to mention some cheeky franking credit strategies through my own parents shares (wink wink nudge nudge - you all know you've done it) I will be more than happy to pay a bit extra when my super ticks over 3Mil (which may well be b4 I retire). Don't be such an effing miser when the govt want to rein in an extra sliver of our (comparative to other countries) massive wealth (caveat - I don't speak for ozzie farmers with fluctuating property values here).
Anyway use whatever search engine you choose and you will find average nett worth in the world is under even 100k ffs. In summary - we are all pretty rich here so get a grip B4 you proclaim the sky falls on your head.
BTW super was not intended to be your family legacy to create millionaires of all your (no doubt precious and worthy) progeny. Using pejorative terms such as "raping" to describe an extremely modest imposition on a significant income (i.e. only that above 3mil) by the govt (which couldn't be a more centralist leftist party if they tried) shows a really sad case of entitlement syndrome IMHO.
