This is actually a huge consideration for this company. Paul owns alot in his superannuation. If you cant connect the dots then I dont think you are adequately understanding the blowback this policy which is earmarked to occur July 1 has on WA1. I am happy to leave it there for your sake. Unrealised super gains if taxed Paul alone would be forced to sell a very large chunk which will smash the shareprice. Maybe you could help him get a very large loan to meet his tax obligations so the super tax we are discussing is as you say irrelevant to WA1. Its real and is coming. Details unknown but unrealised gains has been mentioned at many junctures. For Wombats sake I will leave it there. But it is ignorant to say the super tax wont affect WA1 directly. Being in the general discussion it is suited as this is a general tax issue that will DIRECTLY affect WA1. I will be forced to sell a decent block, so you can supersize my situation 1,000 fold to Paul. Its a potential huge factor in the story so far. One key to investing is if you can reduce the tax on the return you are making a much bigger after tax gain and hence overall gain. Talking tax is something that will come along with taking gains. WA1 last I saw has people with very large gains. If this was a dog of a stock your comments are warranted. But for now no one discuss tax, super.......Wombat please add whatever else we are not allowed to discuss please.

There are ridiculous gains out there and yes in superannuation accounts. Hands up who has large gains in super? A tax change coming in 3 weeks with no clear guidance on how it works is probably more relevant than most discussion points on this forum.
