my thoughts also. If we're looking at a partnership/licencing deal, the companies dealing in that realm should be 'wow, this works, I want some of that', regardless of SOI.
The consolidation is purely about getting noticed for investors to get past the penny dreadful adage that so called sophisticated investors don't go for. The market cap doesn't change, so anyone looking to buy out IMU isn't going to give a dead rodent's rectum of the SP either.
