I agree, after a few passes the contact is a little more ambigous than I first thought.
There is deferrals to the current agreement, and the commencement of a new one. Plus an interest cost for the deferral of the existing. Backing out an actual number for the thermal on a go forward basis is quite a head scratcher.
Not as straight forward as I had hoped. Does provide short term liquidity though, and i still view CRN as a 2 year call option on Met coal. Will be interesting to see if NHC play their hand soon, CRN will be virtually out of options now in terms of liquidity.
