if those datacentres want to have a 24 hours backup duration, which is not much, they need to have 3,219GWh BESS system combined. The LCE amount in the 3,219GWh BESS would be 2,736kt. If we consider the total LCE supply of the world today which is 1,500kt (1.5mt), that wouldn't be possible.
But we have to built those large scale BESS at the end of the day anyway. So the world needs more and more lithium.
