MMs/brokers can seamlessly journal DTR to DTREF - so they can basically realise the arbitrage immediately. The journalling and trading for us peasants takes longer, is much more manual, and difficult. They'll realise an immediate gain tonight on the OTC. Crash the ASX tomorrow, then do it all over again.
