Yep, 25% reduction in shorts who got out without moving the price. Good positive sign though.
But, we saw a run up from 4% short to 9% short between
roughly the start of April to early May, who are currently underwater if they are still in. Even if the recent close out was from shorts all in this bracket approximately 40% of remaining shorts are underwater, it could be considerably higher than that.
That’s a reasonable buy pressure.
I’m just happy that the overall short position is on the way down!
