Seems someone on here is a little touchy about how effective the current administration in the us will be post midterms.. thanks for the moderation. I think it is highly topical because the pace and depth of “transformative “ action may be highly curtailed should the American public decide they are unhappy with how things are happening. So sure it could be more of the same if the America public like what is happening but presently the polls suggest almost everything happing is not being well received.
for NUZ, having stable and clear direction is a risk we would love to have removed. Risk hurts us and removal of risk helps us. I struggle to understand how any shareholder here could argue that the present situation in the US is clearly removing risk. Sure, there is a little rhetoric that they will try and make drugs available to the public at first sign of efficacy. Well we are there and we are not looking like being in the ‘go to market’ conversation until we have the mid trial results. Given previous drugs being a fail post being expensive and going to market early, I can understand hesitancy. Also, first signs of efficacy should also have safety and balance of better off with than without plus one would want some cover to avoid the inevitable court cases that would follow, even if the drug was amazing.
