I bought MVF (again) about the same time SOL increased their holdings. Lucky for me before the collapses l (for other reasons) cleared up everything except large holdings and sold.
the temptation to wade back in buy MVF is very high(but l am not). MVF has had issues (l remember when one of their head specialist left).
it’s back luck / bad timing but l think in a couple of years the returns will be 100% and the yield attractive. Of course l could well be 100% wrong after all its small cap.
TOT was a mistake, poor investment think l was also in this that happens. I just moved on.
MVF is timing. Small caps 40% fail miserably 60% should work but it’s a tough pond to fish in. Sometimes it feels like it’s 80% failure 30% success.
