Looks like there was a short covering event on the 3rd and 4th June.
Open short position:
2nd June: 4.02%
3rd June: 3.83%
4th June: 3.63%
Coincidentally (or perhaps not a coincidence) Operation Spiderweb started on the 1st June, so this event may have caused some shorters to close positions.
Between those dates we went from $1.28 to $1.60
Either way, this is the lowest % we’ve seen since the ATH of open short positions at just under 11% in Feb
