Alternatively the could have continued with radio silence. That would have yielded about as much utility as this announcement IMO but on the balance of things I appreciate that they put something out, including when we will hear about Ryoncil sales too.
If I had my pessimist/cynical hat on: Yes, this gives the shorters more time to fiddle around with the stock because they have put a timeline on all things that could move the price materially. Or maybe that gives them a count down until they have to get out of their positions (ryoncil sales)?
