My rationale... good question.
The assets the company holds are bloody valuable, yet... current management seem quite inept at monetizing them.
An example of this, is where the MD spoke about Iron Bark and the mining lease application being in progress... over 18 months ago now

Great Boulder says Side Well is an “absolute belter” (first 2 minutes).

Yet here we sit... I think the opportunity lies in some larger funds (well.. larger than me...) taking a closer look at GBR, seeing the opportunity and moving in to shake things up. I am.... 99% sure if this occurred, GBR would be worth at least double todays market cap. It should not be this way, but it is.

I mean, Iron Bark high grade core.. is higher grade than NMG! (4.9g/t). it's shallow, even with a high strip ratio.
Mulga is the same. The last MRE update was in Nov 2023..... 18 months time has passed, yet management seem incapable having a different mind set, where just drilling small programs and then undertaking regular, small capital raisings, is a recipe for.... stagnation and underperformance.

If they cannot see which explorers have done well over the past 3 years... they simple need to move on.

The scoping study will be good, as the MRE at Ironbark is all within 150m of surface.





Without a doubt, something needs to change at the company, though I note the new hire to focus on the mining side of things in April, is the most proactive thing to have been done (better than nothing).

I would love to see some outside influences, ah... nudge management/board into realising they are literally missing a gold boom.... when they work in a gold explorer with the chance to produce high grade gold...

I keep oscillating between being annoyed, but also appreciating the opportunity GBR offers.
