Latest GDM announcement said that concentrates had been produced, seperation was due to commence in next few weeks and electrical upgrades were underway, so it's a massive stretch to say that if an ingot isn't produced immediately then the plant is sub-economic. If it was that easy to produce first gold then I doubt GDM would be given 51% of the project and 12 months to do so. They probably have to do more work upgrading the plant prior to seperation and pouring. Bigger question will be once they have produced first gold, what will be the plant's run rate, and how much more work will it need to get to 25Koz/annum
