@squidd4; Australia is NOT in conflict with any major power, China's our major trading partner with whom we've very favourable trade deals, so too Japan and even the EU.
The one fly in our ointment is Trump's MAGA - the USA has long shamelessly exploited and undermined Australians.
Australia can easily source what we import from the USA much more cheaply and for better products - US gas guzzlers and Teslas are expensive and unreliable - Chinese versions are half the price and massively superior to them.
Our exports to the USA are tiny and even sought after by others. It's long overdue that we stood on our own two feet and distanced ourselves from a self-indulgent and increasingly belligerent country that's tearing itself apart.
