Now that the Liberals are going to have a rethink, they have often mentioned Liberal party values but never tell us what they are. They could for a start have a look at a speech that was attributed to Menzies, which when read you have thought the Labor party wrote. For me this speech would be a fine base, for our so called modern Libs to start with. The other problem they have is putting up career politicians, who have never worked or lived in the trenches, they need to relate to the voters. They better get closer to the centre or they are gone.

Two schools of thought here: Either go to where the voters are; or come up with policies that are well thought out, offer genuine hope, then deliver the message with absolute conviction. The Libs had none of the latter this time around.
