The temporary relaxing just shows how deeply vulnerable the US is to the weaponisation of critical minerals. They can keep the US on a leash and keep delaying domestic US production with the 'promise' of eased restrictions. I can't see that happening under this administration.
Domestic production will happen, period. There is simply not enough supply to meet global demand - not when these minerals extend far beyond just critical advanced military applications but every bit of technology that modern society relies on.
getting in at this price is an unbelievable opportunity.
