Lets see. I'm cautiously optimistic we'll be fine. It's the rusted-on long term holders (myself included) that I suspect are approaching this from a catious standpoint. My quick take (after sleeping on it), is that yes we've had adequate testing time. Yes, pl5 and the time absorbed testing there has likely derisked pl6 sufficiently and speed up any testing time needed, to provide a 'preliminary report'. Yes, we've now got an industry runway/roadmap forward (with infineon > IMEC > Tier 1 Fab > megabit test chip at 20nm to garner industry validation with)...assuming we pass this 20nm hurdle (imminent). Yes, we've got a little bit of cash in the bank. Yes, we've had our first instu cap raise (which is good recognition/visibility). Never say never, but I can't think of an obvious scenario to have a '..interim analysis of the sixth platform lot' to tell us 'it's failed'. I could imagine some expectation setting perhaps (taking longer than first thought, or technical equipment failure, expect next update mid-July, challenges or setbacks faced, or even some strategic decisions based upon the 'interim results' so far; etc). Assuming we get a functional 20nm cell; then we have a long journey ahead - but at least our journey towards real commercialisation can begin; and we've got a path forward. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox...I know how Hash went mad.

The key word is “interim”, meaning testing is ongoing. 20nm is operational enough to continue testing.
