Taking huge positions in options when they are cheap - like 003 etc can be a blessing and a curse.
Take my latest trade on DTRO. I bought millions and ...millions average 0045
So as it soared, so to did my paper balance
however ....the higher DTRO went, the thinner the bid stack got and this goes the same for all these runaway options plays.
You do not want to be caught holding when the tide turns and starts to run out as you simply cannot divest your large options holdings without crucifying the price.
With DTRO I made the wise choice to sell half at 032c on the way up and the balance into solid annc starting at around the 12c mark.
So all in all I did very well however again.......sizing and timing is everything. In trading....and in life.
